1. Write a response to the lecture material regarding taxes. First give a summary of what you learned about taxes. Then give your opinion regarding whether such taxes are justifiable or not.
Use formal writing style, and try to use the following terms:

justifiable
justified / unjustified
2. Take vocabulary Quizzes for set 1E Definitions and 1E Sentences. The links to the quizzes are found in the bulletin under the section for "Vocab Test Links."
3. Take SAT Writing quizzes 1 through 5. The links are in the bulletin under the "SAT Warm Ups" section. The passing score is 90%, so you should retake them until you can pass the quizzes.
4. Read the first book on the Reading list (1984). This book should be finished within this week. A short assignment will be sent to you later.
